Almost every week somewhere in Ireland, a going concern goes up in smoke. Not as a result of arson or malicious intent but worse, as a result of problems caused by the routine actions of workers using flammable and other hazardous liquids without a safe, structured system for handling them. Problems such as a pressure build-up in a container holding volatile chemicals, sparks from static build-up in a dry area of the plant and even corrosive chemicals stored of transferred in containers not suited to hold them.

The stud system is designed to address these problems whilst taking into consideration the safety concerns, production / performance demands and budget constraints as well as regulatory requirements. The equipment used in the S.T.U.D. system meets all the applicable regulations or standards required i.e. OSHA - EPA - DOT - NFPA. Where third party test standards are available most products have been tested by factory Mutual Research (F.M.) and / or Underwriter Laboratories (U.L.).
